Chhaya, an initiative under the People for the Respect & Care of Animals (PRCA), has been a beacon of hope for injured, abandoned, and distressed animals since its establishment in 2008. Located in Aswathaberia, this animal welfare hospital and rescue shelter provides critical medical care, rehabilitation, and a safe haven for countless animals in need. Equipped with well-ventilated kennels, a Gaushala, an aviary, and an advanced medical unit featuring an operation theatre, X-ray machines, and dedicated rescue vehicles, Chhaya is committed to ensuring that every animal receives the care it deserves.
